OUR PRODUCTS ACTIVE RFID Active UHF tags, battery powered, transmitting 24x7, readable up to 100 meters. It has low transmission power level and is ideal for all long range RFID applications. PASSIVE RFID Passive tags – inexpensive “Labels” without battery. It is suitable for item level, carton level and pallet level tagging, and inventory/asset control in manufacturing and retail industry. It requires powerful scanner because tags do not have their own batteries. They can only be scanned from a limited distance (subject to RF ambience) and cannot be monitored 24/7 for tamper or continuously tracked. INFRARED ID Infrared (IR) light waves are a part of ordinary daylight, but can also be generated by light emitting diodes or incandescent lamps. The wavelength is about one micrometer (1/1 000 000 m) long, corresponding to a frequency of 300 THz (300·1012 Hz). This wavelength represents heat rather than light, in difference to the high-energy short-wavelength ultraviolet (UV) light at the other side of the light spectrum. Infrared waves are therefore friendly to the human body, just like daylight and light from the lamps that we have at home.
